Quickstart

Make your first request in under a minute.

1. Get an API key

Sign up for a free account. Keys look like q4_live_… and are shown once, so copy yours somewhere safe.

2. Make a request

Every request sends the key in the x-api-key header. Try Saudi Aramco's quote:

curl "https://api.q4.sa/v1/quote/2222" \
  -H "x-api-key: $Q4_API_KEY"
import os, requests

r = requests.get(
    "https://api.q4.sa/v1/quote/2222",
    headers={"x-api-key": os.environ["Q4_API_KEY"]},
)
print(r.json()["data"]["price"])

3. Read the response

Single objects come back as { "data": { … } }, lists as { "data": [ … ], "pagination": { … } }.

{
  "data": {
    "symbol": "2222",
    "price": 25.42,
    "change_percent": 0.71,
    "is_delayed": true,
    "updated_at": "2026-11-04T10:42:13Z"
  }
}

Next steps

  • Retrieve financial statements with the page each figure came from.
  • List documents to pull filings as they're published.
  • Stream live prices over the WebSocket.
